As a developer I love figuring out complex systems and making them run smoothly. That means working anywhere in the stack: automating infrastructure and deployments, designing features that span multiple projects, building offline-ready front end applications. These are all places where I've enjoyed learning about the problem space and working to make good software. Personally, I value self-awareness, empathy, and inclusivity. I strive to make the environment I work in one where people feel comfortable and safe, as it's foundational to a high performing team.

When I'm not at work, I like exploring the world of specialty coffee, and brewing beer. Lately I've developed an interest in blacksmithing after forging a couple of knives (which are excellent tools for my obsession with food).
